Can I bring my own roller skates/roller blades?
Yes, you can bring your own roller skates/blades. However, we require the use of toe plugs or toe stops in good condition for all quad roller skates, with the exception of plates made specifically for figure and loop circles. If you do not have toe plugs or toe stops, we have them available for purchase in our Pro Shop. We also require that no metal objects are sticking out, as these can damage our rink floor (Ex.; Wheel axles, exposed bolts for toe stops or heel brakes).
What are your hours and prices?
Please refer to the "Schedule" page tab on the left of your screen. All of our open skate session times and prices are listed there. For open skate sessions that do not occur during our normal hours, please refer to the "Home" page tab. Additional pricing for rentals and accepted methods of payment are on the bottom of the "Schedule" page.
Does the rink have air conditioning (A/C)?
Like many roller skating rinks, our building does not have A/C. During the warmer months, we keep the fans on and doors open to circulate air through the building.
Do you have roller blade/inline rentals?
We have a limited stock of roller blades available for rental. Please note that you will only be charged for quad skate rentals at the front window, unless you are using a credit card, in which you will be given cash for roller blade rentals (included in your card charge). If you go to the skate room and your size of roller blades is availabile, it will be a $2.00 upgrade for each pair of roller blades.
Do you have the SkateMate Trainer "walkers" for beginner skaters?
We do not have walkers available for use at our rink. Although they can be helpful, they often are more hazardous. We do allow parents/guardians to walk with their children alongside the wall on the rink floor for assistance, as long as shoes are dry and no dangers are created for other skaters.
Can I purchase roller skates and/or skate accessories?
Our Pro Shop has some new and used roller skates and boots available. We also have toe stops, toe plugs, wheels, laces, skate touch-up polish, and other accessories! If you are interested with something that we do not have in our Pro Shop, we likely can place an order for you to be shipped to the rink for pick-up.
Why doesn't the DJ play all of my song requests?
The general music format for our open sessions are top 40's hits and family-friendly music, with the exception of Friday and Saturday nights, in which we play more hip-hop music. Regardless of the genre, all songs played are clean. If the DJ is accepting song requests, your song choice has to be clean and appropriate for the majority of the crowd. Our DJ's can deny song requests at any time, especially if the song is not fitting for the session. Please note that the DJ needs to keep the session upbeat, so slow-paced songs will likely not be played one after another.
